AN EXHIBITION OF A CENTURY OF INDIAN DANCE: 1901-2000
NEW DELHI, 18-24 JULY 2011

The national opening of a unique exhibition ---- “A Century of Indian Dance: 1901-2000”, was held in New Delhi on 18th July 2011.

“Lord Shiva is lord of the dance which makes the universe dance to his tunes. The rhythms created by the beat of his drum is the sound common to our heart beats”, said Dr. Karan Singh, President ICCR, while inaugurating the Mohan Khokar Dance Collection.

“It’s our responsibility to preserve the history of ‘A Century of Indian Dance’ and deliver it to the future”, said Mr. Suresh K. Goel, Director General, ICCR.
